Historic home with modern upgrades that has gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. The home was recently upgraded with amazing features including two gas fireplaces, high end kitchen finishes, and a spa style primary bathroom with heated floors. The house is located in the Southside Historic District, steps from the lake, and a short walk to downtown Racine. You can enjoy the local restaurants and shopping, explore the lakefront, or stay in and relax in the peaceful home.

Good to know

The first floor was made for entertaining, the open design allows the living room, dining room, and kitchen to flow together, this is perfect for large groups. The living area features a gas fireplace, French doors that open up to a large front porch, and beautiful lake views from the large windows. The dining area has an oversized table with seating for 10, and the kitchen is spacious with high end finishes and two copper sinks. There is also a half bath on the first floor. The second floor has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has sunrise views from the king bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring an oversized soaking tub, heated floors, and a large shower with rainfall and body massaging shower heads. There is also a large balcony on the 2nd floor to enjoy the lake views. On the third floor you will find one bedroom, a full bathroom, and a large bonus room. The bonus room was designed for relaxing or spending time with family and friends, it includes a large TV, games, and books. There is also a daybed and a futon couch to sleep 2 guests as well as an airbed which can be setup.

Other Details to Note

The first floor only has a half bath. Stairs are required to access full bathrooms on the 2nd floor. While children are allowed, please note that the home is not childproofed and has several staircases and balconies which require adult supervision. We ask that you only sleep in the designated areas and not on the furniture.

This is my third time staying at Eric’s place. The house is beautiful. It’s so cozy in the winter. Clean and well appointed. A perfect place for girlfriends to get together for a weekend.

This was a beautiful, spacious home with thoughtful amenities throughout. We especially appreciated the super-comfortable beds, abundance of cozy blankets, and great assortment of kitchen supplies, including kid-friendly touches like high chairs and children’s utensils, which were a pleasant surprise and made our stay much easier. As many other reviews mention, the views of the lake were indeed fantastic! The host was a great communicator - responsive, helpful, and proactive. They really have anticipated everything you need to feel at home away from home. The overall experience was well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again!

My family gathered at Eric's house for the Christmas holiday. My 88 year old mother requested a view of Lake Michigan - she got that and much, much more! The lake-side location and especially the comfortable house were just what we needed. There was plenty of space to be on your own when needed and large gathering spaces for family meals and for our Christmas gift exchange. Thank you to Eric and the team for their proactive and timely communication before and during the stay. We hope to visit again - hopefully soon!

This home was wonderful for our family. The space fostered great connection and fun with family. The view of the lake is phenomenal. It was a luxurious oasis that allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature and family.
